Webinar 3: Advancing dry eye management through in-office procedures
This webinar session will focus on dry eye management options that optometrists can conduct in their own clinic, commonly referred to as 'in-house' treatments.
The session will cover procedures primarily performed using the slit lamp, as well as an exploration of intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy. The speaker will share their experiences, techniques, and valuable clinical pearls for executing these treatments effectively.
Additionally, theoretical background on certain procedures, such as IPL therapy, will be provided, offering attendees a comprehensive evidence-based understanding of these approaches to dry eye management.
Learning outcomes
- Practitioners will be able to communicate effectively with patients about dry eye management strategies used within their own practice, using an evidence-based approach
- Practitioners will identify treatment options for a range of dry eye cases relative to their scope of practice
