This secure online tool has been produced by the AOP, and developed to help practices providing General Ophthalmic Services (GOS) in Scotland to meet their compliance requirements. The checklist is freely available to all optometrists in Scotland with 'additional help' sections restricted to AOP members.

How to use the SGCT

Start by logging in to the AOP website. If you are an AOP member, this will be via your normal log in details.
If you aren’t an AOP member, you can register for a free account to access this tool by registering as a non member.

After that go to “Practice information” completing your first checklist.

Once you have created a checklist and provided your patient details you can start to use the “policy builder” tab and complete the practice policies section.
