The event offers a day of online education led by experts, offering valuable insights into diagnostic and management options for retinal conditions using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) in clinical practice.

Webinar: Geographic atrophy in AMD: diagnosis, imaging and disease progression

This in-depth webinar on Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) will focus on the classification of AMD and the diagnostic criteria for geographic atrophy (GA). The session will cover the use of multimodal imaging techniques in diagnosing GA, as well as insights into GA disease progression and its associated burden. Enhance your understanding of GA and improve your clinical practice with expert guidance and the latest research findings.

Michael Horler

Mike HorlerMike is a consultant optometrist in medical retina at Sussex Eye Hospital, a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, and College of Optometrists Councillor. Prior to this, he was the medical retina co-lead in the Moorfields/UCL postgraduate team.

Mike previously lived in New Zealand, where he co-managed patients in the community and held a teaching post at the University of Auckland. He has a wide range of experience in optometry and subspecialty ophthalmology and has given numerous invited presentations on AMD.
