Optometry Today (OT), in partnership with the AOP and our session sponsors Optos, Topcon, Specsavers, and Apellis, are pleased to host a day of OCT-themed education.

The event offers a day of online education led by experts, offering valuable insights into diagnostic and management options for retinal conditions using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) in clinical practice.

The programme has four live webinars, each offering one interactive CPD point. Delegates are invited to attend the full programme or choose individual sessions based upon their clinical interests.

Ian Jarvis

Ian JarvisIan Jarvis has been in independent practice in Dundee for over 30 years and qualified as an independent prescriber in 2011.

As chair of the Scottish Committee of Optometrists, his advocacy for using NHS funding for independent prescribers training led to a significant increase in independent prescribing optometrists in Scotland.

Ian served on the Scottish council for the College of Optometrists and the research committee. Currently, he represents the independent sector on the Optometry Scotland council, contributing to community glaucoma and advanced eyecare schemes.
