Joseph Ong is currently working as a research optometrist with Eurolens Research, which he does alongside his work in private practice at a Manchester opticians. Mr Ong is proud to be able to use his research knowledge to deliver the highest quality patient care with professionalism, empathy and integrity.
How it feels to be a winner
I’m thrilled, I’m absolutely honoured to have won this award. It just feels really good to be recognised for the work that we do. I’m still going to be the same optometrist, I am still going to strive for greater heights, still going to do my best, still be committed to patient care. It’s just a really positive encouragement.
