City students celebrate

Optometry undergraduates from City, University of London have celebrated at the department's Eyeball, which was organised by the OpSoc committee.

Hosted at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in Embankment on 20 April, more than 100 students and staff attended.

Everyone who attended the event was entered into a raffle, with prizes donated by industry. Showing its support for students, Louis Stone donated lens racks, which were won by third-year student, Nabiha Dattu.

On receiving the prize, Ms Dattu said: “It was the one piece of equipment that I felt I was missing and really wanted before I started my pre-reg. I can't wait to start using them.”
