Cameron Optometry welcomes Gillian Sibeth to the newly-created role
20 March 2017
Scottish independent, Cameron Optometry, has named Gillian Sibeth as head of retail. Appointed to the newly-created role, Ms Sibeth has more than 20 years experience in the optical sector.
Having graduated with a fellowship diploma from the Association of British Dispensing Opticians in 1995, Ms Sibeth has most recently worked as a sales agent for British eyewear company, William Morris London.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Sibeth expressed that she was delighted to join the award-winning practice, adding: “Being able to assist in sourcing beautifully crafted frames and helping patients select eyewear is the dream job for me.”
Speaking about the new appointment, optometrist and managing director of Cameron Optometry, Ian Cameron, explained: “We completely redesigned our dispensing room last year, which is now more akin to a fashion boutique. We are committed to stocking unique, well-made frames and know that Gillian’s experience will be beneficial as we select new designers. In addition, her experience in advising on lenses, both for glasses and contacts, will be invaluable.”
