Optometrist and Dispensing Optician volunteers

Vision Care for Homeless People has been running its newest London clinic at the Doctors of the World practice in Stratford since April this year.

The clinic runs between 10am and 2pm fortnightly on a Thursday, and serves a large population of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in the area. We are on the lookout for optometrists (testing time 35-40 minutes) and clinic assistants. If you are unable to assist during the clinic we have a few remote roles available. We provide full training, arrange clinic visits, and expense travel costs for all volunteers.

If you are interested in a volunteer role with VCHP, please click on the link to our short survey which should take 10 minutes to complete.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and looking forward to speaking to some of you soon.

If applying for this role, please mention that you saw the advert on the OT website.
