The Eye Doctor has revealed a one-year sponsorship deal with Huddersfield Town Football Club’s first team, highlighting eye care to football fans.

Part of The Body Doctor, a family-run business based in Huddersfield, The Eye Doctor is the official sponsor for the training wear of the football club’s first team for the Sky Bet Championship season 2023-24.

Through the sponsorship, which began at the start of July, The Eye Doctor logo will be displayed on the front of the training kit for the playing and technical staff for one year.

Sam Wymer, sales and marketing director for The Body Doctor, said: “Being a part of this fantastic club once again is such a proud moment for me and our family. It’s exciting to feature our Eye Doctor brand on the training kit to help raise awareness of the importance of looking after our eyes.”

He continued: “We cannot wait for the new season to start and being a part of this new chapter in Huddersfield Town History.”

Ian Birtley, Huddersfield Town’s commercial director, described the sponsorship as a “proud moment to promote a successful local brand to our supporters.”

Discussing the extended partnership, Birtley commented that The Body Doctor Team “do some incredible work around eye health that makes such a tangible difference to so many people.”

The training wear is expected to be available for fans to purchase in late July.
