Fight for Sight rebrands with aim of saving sight and changing lives

The relaunch comes after the charity merged with Vision Foundation in 2023

Fight for Sight has rebranded, with a new vision to ‘save sight’ and ‘change lives.’

The relaunch of the eye care charity comes 18 months after it merged with Vision Foundation.

Fight for Sight’s new logo resembles an eye and the eyelid below it, with the eyelid curving upwards to reference outstretched arms.

The new branding has been designed with accessibility in mind, with the dark navy and aqua colour scheme providing AAA contrast accessibility.

The new look can be seen on the charity’s website.

Fight for Sight has also confirmed that it will retain its name going forward.

The rebrand comes alongside a five-year strategy, which will see almost £30 million distributed across scientific research and social change projects.

Heather Giles, Fight for Sight’s chair of trustees, said: “The researchers we fund are at the forefront, making breakthroughs and discoveries that will help to better understand, diagnose, prevent, and treat eye disease.

“The partnerships we build and the initiatives we support are changing lives for people who are blind or vision impaired.”

Giles thanked “everyone who has brought our ambition to life through this incredible new identity.”

Fight for Sight’s chief executive, Keith Valentine, noted that, when a person receives a diagnosis of vision loss, they face two questions: ‘Can this be stopped?’ and ‘How do I live my life?’

“We fund work that offers positive answers to both questions,” Valentine said.

He added: “Now, we have an equally bold brand underpinning our ambitions, which I am excited to launch via our website.

“The brand is aesthetic, accessible, and paired with a distinctive tone of voice, which denotes an optimistic future for us as a charity and, crucially, for everyone impacted by vision loss.”
