This session is delivered in partnership with CooperVision.

Updated guidance from the College of Optometrists and the Association of British Dispensing Opticians supports myopia management in clinical practice. It is recommended that all eye care professionals should be able to have a conversation around the potential for a child to develop myopia, lifestyle changes that may delay or prevent the onset of myopia as well as managing the established myope. This peer review will work through different scenarios to consider how support staff can help gather information prior to an eye examination as well as how eye care professionals can lean on support staff to maximise a discussion on myopia and myopia management.
